The ideal substrate is a well-aerated one, specific to orchids, such as tree bark. Fertilization is done monthly, with a diluted fertilizer, especially for orchids. Phalaenopsis prefers high humidity, so lightly misting the leaves helps maintain a favorable environment. Cutting off wilted flowers stimulates new blooms.
